The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative also singled out Ukraine as one of the countries that have adopted legislative measures to prevent unauthorized recording of movies in cinemas (camcording), along with Canada, Japan, Peru, and the Philippines.
In 2024, Ukraine was actively involved in international initiatives aimed at strengthening its capacity in the field of intellectual property rights enforcement. Thus, in the framework of cooperation with the U.S. Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Ukrainian specialists took part in training events organized for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
