    Rebuild Ukraine: IP Office joins international initiatives in Poland

     

    The mission’s objective was to exchange experiences and establish new partnerships to support the post-war recovery and regional development.

     

    The IP Office participated in key events in Poland as part of the project Supporting Entrepreneurship Development and Competitiveness in Ukrainian Regions.” In particular, Olha Kronda, Head of the IP Office’s Innovation Development Department, was engaged in key events and meetings. The mission aimed to study best practices, share experience, and build partnerships to aid Ukraine’s recovery and regional growth.

     

    ReBuild Ukraine 2024

     

    The highlight of the event was the participation in the ReBuild Ukraine 2024 forum and exhibition held in Warsaw. This event brought together representatives from governments, businesses, investors, and international organizations to coordinate efforts in rebuilding critical infrastructure, the energy sector, residential facilities, and more.

     

    The forum served as a platform to promote investment opportunities across Ukrainian regions and foster international collaborations. Such initiatives provide Ukraine with crucial support in overcoming the consequences of war and laying the foundation for sustainable development and economic revival.

     

    The IP Office actively contributes by facilitating investments, supporting innovative projects, and integrating modern technologies into Ukraine’s recovery processes. Through partnerships with international stakeholders, the IP Office helps establish innovative ecosystems vital for rebuilding the economy, restoring critical infrastructure, and ensuring sustainable growth.

    The program of the trip also included:

     

    • A visit to the Krakow Technology Park, one of Poland’s leading business hubs. It hosts approximately 400 companies that enjoy tax benefits. The technology park features a business incubator and accelerator, which strengthen the market positions of the most promising startups and inspire their global development. This initiative solidifies Krakow’s reputation as a city of startups.

    • A visit to the Science and Technology Park in Opole, which fosters the economic and scientific growth of the region by creating conditions for implementing innovative solutions and advancing high technologies. The park serves as a collaborative platform for science, business, and local government, offering support to startups, access to venture capital, business incubation services, and modern research facilities.

    • Visit to the Technopark Gliwice Science and Technology Park, a modern hub fostering business development through infrastructure, training, and consultancy services. The park actively supports startup growth by creating an enabling environment and offering various support programs. These include organizing hackathons and other events that encourage the generation of innovative ideas and their implementation.

     

    Special emphasis is placed on collaboration with students, who gain valuable opportunities to participate in projects, refine their skills, and work on real-world business cases. Through such initiatives, Technopark Gliwice has become a key center integrating science, business, and education, fostering the emergence of a new generation of entrepreneurs.

    • The training on “Investor Service Standards” emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to creating a favorable environment for business development. The study of such experience is especially relevant in the context of Ukraine’s reconstruction, as attracting investment, supporting startups and developing innovative infrastructure are key elements of economic recovery.

     

    The participation of the IP Office in international initiatives, such as the project “Supporting Entrepreneurship Development and Competitiveness of Ukrainian Regions”, is an important step towards the country’s reconstruction.Learning best practices, exchanging experiences, and establishing new partnerships unlock opportunities for the growth of Ukrainian businesses, innovative projects, and attracting investments. Engaging investors, supporting startups, and building infrastructure are critical to sustainable economic recovery and modernization of Ukraine’s regions.
