On 24 July 2024, the first meeting of the Commission on Granting Permits for the Use of the Official Name and International Alphabetical Code of the State of Ukraine in Trademarks and/or for the Inclusion of the Imitation of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the Trademark Image (the “Ukraine” Commission) was held under the chairmanship of Bogdan Paduchak, First Deputy Director of the IP Office.
The agenda of the first meeting included consideration of 25 applications for permission to use national symbols in trademarks.
According to the results of the meeting of the Commission:
The Commission’s decision, as well as notifications on the need to provide additional materials, will be sent to applicants within the time limits specified in the Regulations on the Commission “Ukraine”.

We remind you that the Commission “Ukraine” resumed its activities on 26 June 2024 – from the moment of approval of the personal composition of the Commission by the Order of the UANIPIO No. 102/2024, approved by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
