    The tools, knowledge and support necessary for the successful commercialization of business ideas were presented by UANIPIO experts during the IP LET Forum on November 27, 2025, in Kyiv.

    A number of important initiatives of the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO/IP Office) were presented in the presentation “New Business Opportunities in the IP Sphere” by:

    • Anastasia Yarmoliuk, Deputy Head of the Department – Head of Unit of the Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers of UANIPIO;

    • Oleksandr Hryhorenko, Head of the Division of the Promotion of Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation in the Field of Security and Defense of UANIPIO.

    The presentation covers such issues:

    • Services of the National IP and Innovations Hub (IP&I Hub),
    • Strategy for promoting the development of a regional innovation ecosystem,
    • Development of regional innovations hubs,

    • GrantWay – training on grant financing,

    For more details on the tools and proposals of the IP Office regarding new business opportunities, please refer to the presentation.

    As Anastasia Yarmoliuk noted, UANIPIO is actively working to develop a comprehensive architecture of services in the field of IP and innovation for business:

    “Through the National IP&Innovations Hub, the TISC network, as well as the Lab2Market UA and GrantWay entrepreneur support programs and other initiatives, we help entrepreneurs receive qualified support, attract funding and bring innovative products to market faster. It is essential for us that entrepreneurs, universities, and communities perceive intellectual property as a comprehensible system with clear rules, transparent processes, and predictable results.

    We place a special emphasis on the regional dimension and the involvement of new groups of entrepreneurs, in particular women entrepreneurs, creative industries, etc. Through guides, checklists, training programs, and mentoring, we promote the integration of intellectual property into daily management decisions and growth strategies.

    Ultimately, we are talking about the formation of a sustainable innovation ecosystem, where the registration of IP rights and their commercialization are viewed as a single cycle, and intellectual property functions as a real resource for economic development.”

    Oleksandr Hryhorenko, in his turn, noted:

    “UANIPIO and IP&I Hub, as its component, ensure cooperation with the security and defense sector of Ukraine on issues of promoting the development of intellectual property rights in the activities of relevant government agencies, their R&D organizations, as well as Military-industrial complex in the public and private sectors of the economy. Currently, joint work is underway to develop new approaches and policies on the management and effective legal protection of intellectual property in the field of defense technologies.”
